The Sims 2 Message Board  

my Sims 2 game just staretd acting all weird today, I've had it for a while and I haven't had any problems before, but now it just starts freezing up after I'm playing for like 2 minutes; the screen completely freezes and then I have to re-start my computer, I though it was somethign i downloaded since the problem started after I downloaded a bunch of stuff, so I deleted all of them (even from the recycle bin) but it still freezes up, does anyone know what my problem is and how to fix it? thanx in advance

all i can think of is your computer is messed up or it has a virus or your disc is somehow scratched... sorry..

Ya hes proberly right. When you downloaded that stuff, it would have came with a virus. I suggest running a computer scan...but I dont know alot about computers so you might have to ask somebody else who is smart about this :S

look its not ur computer thats messed up its probably 1 of the cheats u used . like did u use any cheats lately if u did tell me them and i will sort ur problem out coz im good at the sims i have the whole new collection of the sims 2.
the sims2 the sims2 family fun stuff the sims2 open for business the sims2 university and the sims2 nightlife. so just ask me and ur problem will be away in no time!

Your computer may not have the right programs for the game or the game is scrachted...

if there are problems doing things other than the sims then its probably just your computer, but if it is just the sims do a virus check on your computer, make sure all cheats are disabled and then if those two dont work then reinstall the sims, you can save all your families etc... in files on your computer so you wouldnt be loosing anything!
