i am at the mission with the robot and and the alien and i only have 2 mechanical things, i need help!!
please

The only thing I think you can do is keep you're eye out for them... I only had 2 when I got on that mission too... And I just played the game a lot and was sure I checked ALL of the rooms every so often until I found them... It sucks lol, but I don't think that there is a faster way to do it.

You are going to have to change the time on your DS or just wait for the right time...

If you are impatient to find 5 Mechanical Skills, here is a schedule for
finding them:

On Monday at 8.00 a.m. in the northwest corner of the Government Laboratory
On Monday at 4.00 p.m. at the shrine dedicated to Auda Sherif in Mamma Hogg's
bedroom
On Tuesday 12.01 a.m. in the blue corrugated carton in the Secret Warehouse
On Tuesday at 4.00 p.m. in the Furnace Room, above the pallet
On Wednesday at 4.00 p.m. in the Vault, above the pallet
On Thursday at 8.00 a.m. in the Furnace Room above the pallet
On Thursday at 4.00 p.m. next to the stairs in the Basement
On Friday at 12.01 a.m. in the Freezer
On Saturday at 12.01 a.m. in an alcove in the Atrium Centre
On Saturday 4.00 p.m. in the Government Laboratory

Here is a warning as well...
Turning the clock 'back' is particularly dangerous as it may
entirely ruin your game. Your Sim will behave in the same way as when 'zapped' by aliens or robots, and be drained of energy and unable to function at maximum level for DAYS. Moreover, if you move the clock forward more than a couple of times, that will ruin the game as well. Almost everything in this game is based on real time; to change the clock will confuse the programming.

Oh and uh..P.S! DO NOT CHANGE THE TIME ON YOUR D.S. BECAUSE THEN YOU WILL NEVER NEVER EVER BE ABLE TO GO BACK!!! But only because... YOU WOULD BE INVADED BY ALIENS!

I just made another slot saved and used one slot for time travelling and i only have trouble on the save i use time travelling on so if you are going to time travel make a back up and time travel on the back up save

By the way you can only jump backwards in 2 day intervals so if you jump back more then 3 days at a time then your char is buggered but if you jump back 2 days it works

so jump back in 2 day intervals or 1 day intervals and you should be ok

i hope this works for you guys cause it sure worked for me
