i can't get into the lamp chamber what do i do?

If your talking about Agrabah, just look around in the Cave of Wonders (in the basement section-get there by just jumping off on the top) after you had Abu light the crystal things in the statues. After that, look for a pillar or something which your supposed t ohit with fire or some other magic, that will destroy it and open the door to Jafar.

get to the hidden chamber and make the pillar fall using abu (aladin's monkey). Then go to the entrance and then fall into the bottomless chamber where you can get to the treasure room where you can get to the lamp chamber : )

I thought you had to shoot a pillar or something with fire to make it fall and reveal the passage above.
