No Sphere Grid Challenge.

Last night I started a NSG game, I'll be posting my progress here.

I also intend to kill most (if not all ) the Dark Aeons without using the Sphere Grid.


I'll also help anybody who needs help with the game here.

how can i beat dark aeons and how can i get the break hp limit because i only have 9999 and how can i get mifury in what place?

(Possible spoilers.)
You can get Break HP limit from Riniem temple, open 3 treasure chests and beat the other chocobo to get 30 Wings of Discovery, the only other way is to beat Shinryu at the monster arena to get 1 (2 if you Over kill it).

Mifury is the receptionist at Rin's travel agency in the Thunder Plains.

You should be able to beat Dark Ixion and Dark Ifrit if you have two characters with Auto Phoenix (20 Mega Phoenix in armour) because they can only attack one character at a time (who will be revived) unless they have their OD's full (summon an Aeon to block their OD's).

Against Dark Valefor, Shiva and Yojimbo I suggest getting the Celestial weapons to their maximum power.

Against Dark Anima and Bahamut you should have Ribbon on all of your characters as they attack all your characters with status effects most of the time.

The only way I've ever been able to beat the Magus Sisters is to start the fight with First attack, summon Yojimbo then use Zanmato.


As for my NSG challenge, I'm stuck on Yunalesca's third form.

where can i get ribbon?

You need 99 Dark Matters or beat a Dark Aeon (Dark Aeons don't always drop armour with Ribbon but is much faster to get Ribbon from them).
You can get Dark Matter from the Monster arena (the Area, Species and Cretan monsters).

is there any other way to get the WINGS OF DISCOVERY? because i cant beat the chocobo and get 3 treasure chests and shinryu kills me every time i fight him
