Safe limits to add faster units?

    I would like to increase the speed of a unit type or hero. I have tried a few things and some work alittle and some dont work at all. What values do I need to change to make them faster and whats the fastest that will still work that is. Also, does the animation speed effect the unit speed as well or do they need to be the same? Help?¿?

    sorry about the late replay, ive been out of town.

    As for the unit, I would like to know how to change the movement speed of land based and space units.

    I would like to make an all-powerfull unit for each land and space with a high rate of fire and movement if possible. I noticed that some rate of fire can be changed on heros like boba fett. but knowing the working limits and whats the fastest you can make them move and such I have no idea.

    search in the landunits.xml file and spaceunits.xml file to find the unit then find something with speed to do. if you want a power full unit first select unit then edit how much it hits and then speed and health.

    Well I was really looking for more details. I have found most of thoughs items to change however I have made alot of changes that work and a few that do. I wanted to know the workable limites. Example: how fast can I make a unit's speed without breaking the unit. I know I have tried to large of a number before and the unit cant move at all, or only moves like once and is stuck and so on...

    Also, do you have to change the animation speed when you change the speed of the unit? I figured you did but sometimes it hard to tell when its ok to go more than 1.0 or when it cancels itself out when going above. I hope you understand what im tring to say here, I guess I just did not explain it in as much detail and I needed above. If anyone has made a unit that is all-powerfull and very speedy that is stable and working please give an example. It will help instead of all the guess work and just trying a number and then playing it to see if it works or not each and every change...
