to disguise as a bandit you have to go through the abandoned road on "find the bandit seeress" quest and you will find the bandit gear in some treasure chests, and remember break all the barrels because there are some pretty good items in them.

just kill it... wait till it sticks its tail in the ground then attack it

you can kill it easier by shooting it in the eye with your bow, then getting out of the way quickly as it charges at you and attack it when its tale is in the ground, and dont worry when more of the little spiders appear, unless u want to get more experience. it is an easy fight and a quick one
