CSI: Dark Motives Message Board  

Ive got a problem with PC CSI dark motive game. I have brought the triple pc set (csi, csi dark motive and csi miami)
Every time I get onto the 2nd case. (Prints & Pauper)
Warrick and the doc are both talking in english and their speech subtitles are in english BUT the case file and ALL the questions to be asked keep coming up in a french/italian (can't work out which!!!) Ive totally uninstalled including all saved games and then tryed reinstalling but it's still happening. I've returned the game (after unstalling the game first) and the replacement does the same.
Im now on SET NO.03. AND IT KEEPS HAPPENING!! I'm getting feed up of having to return the games. I've had no problems with the other 2 disks in the set. I only want to continue the game.CAN ANYONE HELP???

oh no! I'm getting the same thing. I started getting text in french on game 2, altough they were speaking in english.I've deinstalled on game 3, & reinstalled & starting over. Now I'm really upset... does this mean when I get to game 2 again it's going to be in French? Help

When attempting to play the 2nd case from CSI Dark Motives (Triple Pack Edition) the text that appears when talking to people within the game appears in French.

This applies for all cases after the first case. The files with the French text included are below.

C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\369\CSI-Dark Motives\Case_3\Data\CaseText_3.csi
C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\369\CSI-Dark Motives\Case_4\Data\CaseText_4.csi
C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\369\CSI-Dark Motives\Case_5\Data\CaseText_5.csi

Please find attached to this FAQ a self extracting file called 'CSI-Dark Motives Language Pack.exe'. Download this file to your desktop. Once downloaded double click on the 'CSI-Dark Motives Language Pack.exe' file and then Click on Install. You will be prompted to overwrite 4 files in total. Agree to all of these.

Once completed all language will be in English as intended.
