How do I get the torn page in the Cave of Wonders?

I know you're supposed to call Abu, and he drops a platform, but he only drops the first one. When I choose "call" again for the chest with the torn page, it just says "No response" wth?

I have tried exiting and coming back. I tried approaching from another direction nothing. I have beat KH before, but I am trying to do another go round getting everything, and the only sigle item I missed so far is his cursed torn page! HALP!
