Why isnt CompleteQuest working? Did I type it right?

Perhaps I need to put something after CompleteQuest _______ ?

But what?

This isn't just you, theres many other people having this problem. Even the russian version also. It's annoying. I mean I'm having a problem followiing this lizard around cause the neighbor thinks she is the reason panthers are eating her frigin rats. I been folowing this thing for like 3 hours now and it's annoying. Another quest thats me off is the one where you have a haunted house and u sleep get attacked and then your looking downstairs in the basement and OMFG nothing to do and or attack and the green arrow is telling you to go downstairs and theres nothing to do. NOTHING. I'm . I slept like 12 hours and still nothing. No where to go. I WANT THIS LAME QUEST COMPLETED. I WANT A CHEAT!!!

Yeah, I am having a problem with that haunted house one also. I did finish the Panther one though, I sat in the sneak form behind a wall that was in a bush near where the panthers enter the ladies house so I could see and then I left my computer to eat and The quest had been finished.

My main quests I would cheat to finish is the quest were you have to deliver a forged note to the queen of one of the cities so you can get rid of Heronimus Lex for the Thieves guild, and one for training in which you have to stay underwater with a trainer for 3 consecutive hours and I stayed for 3 consecutive DAYS and nothing happened...

I think I know how to solve the issue; please read this:

Uh, yeah, the cheat definitely is supposed to work but you need the quest parameter number (the number youre supposed to type in after the cheat) so that it can identify the quest you want to complete. The cheat that completes all of the quests works because it doesn't need to have a specific quest number, just only a command that will tell it to complete every quest. But to complete a SPECIFIC QUEST by using the CompleteQuest cheat, you need the actual number that corresponds with the quest you need... its like a serial/identification number that the programmers use to catalogue the quests. They do it for items, too (example: the code for gold is 0000000f [amount]). For quests, it will be something like CompleteQuest [quest number]. That's all I'm saying. I know I'm right because whenver I type in "CompleteQuest" in the console, it says the same thing as if I did "player.additem 0000000f" and didn't type in an amount. So all we really need are the individual codes for each quest, and I haven't seen them posted anywhere yet.

I really need this this because I'm a pretty busy person. For example, I would like to do the Mage Guild quests, but I really don't have the time to go around to each guild and wait for the loading times and all of that stuff, but I don't want to just end the game by doing the complete all quest code cuz that's no fun either, obviously.

I suppose if you wanted to, you could actually get the numbers from the developer (Bethesda Softworks). Maybe you could email them, or perhaps they will be posted on a website soon.

If anyone finds them, though, please post them here.

One last thing...

You know how you can make certain quests your Active Quests, well if there was a code to complete your ACTIVE Quest, then I don't think you would need the parameter number... because can't you only have one active quest at a time anyways?

Yeah that is what this one is said to do.

I have also tried putting in numbers after the completequest and have not gotten a result.

MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA SUCKERS!!!!! OWNAGE. Don't **** me off cause I will and I mean I WILL find the codes. None the less much like DS I and DS II and omfg Neverwinter Nights I find all when I set my mind to it I will WIN.

So heres the code and HOW I FOUND IT. Yes I'm so good I kill myself finding this out. Though editing the music files sorda helped me think cause once the rap and metal is off and techno is on I think....

Code for the LAME ASS Haunted House is MS02 . Ok so heres how to complete the er .

Type the following:
CompleteQuest ms02 (doesn't need to be capitalised or anything just type it in) I find that some games need it to be typed like this though:
CompleteQuest "ms02" (try both)
Note: when u leave the console you wont get any "update" quest notice just check your completed quest log and all is happy happy joy joy.
Now I havent checked the house to see if that lame thing is off my God Forsaken wall yet or not but I will leave an updated post on it.
Also the steps how to find other mission codes do the following:
Type:
ShowQuestTargets
This is your CURRENT UNCOMPLETED quest
You'll see a line where u get "active quest" its a wonderfull 4 letter/numeric code thats the mission code. MUAHAHAHAHA.
Now thats the code u need to ownage with when THERES A FRIGIN bug. Now if you type the following:
ShowQuestLog 1 or "1"
Well thats your completed quest log and it is poinless cause you owned them already, so type it with a "0" to see your current uncompleted quest. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR QUEST AS AN ACTIVE QUEST.
Sorry for the vulgerness I'm just so damn happy cause I owned the mission and didn't pay for the game and I'm so happy.

P.S. I plan on getting all the quest codes and posting it here for all the aggravation of future gammers of this game dont get frustrated about the BS of bugs thats put into the missions and for those that just wanna not waste time on puny lil missions. Though I play the game thourougly its just something someone may need to have.
