The Sims 2 Message Board  

ok i have the sims 2 for my pc, and i have played the sims since "the sims" first came out for pc...but jsut recentlay i took sims 2 off my pc, and then a couple of dayz ago i wanted to put it bak on, but it wont read my disk??? is there ne other way of getting it on my computer w/out taking it bak and returnin it, downloading another one, or buyin a new cd drive???

something similiar happened to me except i was trying to install it on my friends computer (which is not crappy) and it wouldn't read the disk. we never found out what was wrong but im pretty sure it was because the disk was so scratched. i don't know how else you're going to get it to work unless you do buy another game...they're not as expensive as when they first came out, but if you're really care that much you can try ebay.
