Oakvale is the easiest place to own, Knothole Glade is expensive but gives the same rent (roughly, maybe 1k more) and Hook Coast is Really expensive but gives you about 17k Rent. I own the marital house in Hook coast, the first house on the right (coming from the cullis gate) the second shop, the Tavern and the top two buildings and i get a fair amount of rent, so it's best if you stay in Knothole Glade/Oakvale (because the price to sleep there is cheaper) and just do a quick run-around for all of the rent.
