That's right, you can get Latias on Pokemon Ruby by going to Southern Island. To get there you need an Eon Ticket. Normally you need to go to a Nintendo Event to get this ticket, but you can also get it if you have Gameshark or Action Replay.

Use the following codes:

Master Code (M) -needed for all other codes to work

Eon Ticket -it will be in the first slot of your PC items

Southern Island -enables you to go to southern island with Eon Ticket

Latias -enables you to encounter Latias as many times as you want

Now first use just the master code and the code for the Eon Ticket. Make sure you have a bad item in first slot of PC as it will overwrite the item that was there before. Look to see if the Eon Ticket is there, if it is don't take it out yet. Just save and turn the game off.

Then turn off the eon ticket code and turn the other 2 codes on. Start the game and get the Eon Ticket out of the PC. Now go to the ferry in Lilycove city and talk to the lady who lets you board the ferry. She will say something different than usual. Then a different guy will come out and tell you you're trying to reach a tiny spit of an island far in the south. Now he'll take you to southern island.

Follow the path until you enter what looks like a forest. In the center is a small stone, surrounded by water. Click on the stone and Latias will come down and battle you. This will happen every time you click on the stone.

You can also use this same method on Pokemon Sapphire to get Latios, but you have to change the master code to this:

I have gameshark in my visual fameboy advance emulator but cannot get any of the codes to work? Can you please give me a step by step guide in case I am doing something wrong?
