Jack Thompson? The guy who hated video games, right?

That's what it's supposed to mean, but for all of us here, it means a lot more than that.
Jack Thompson blamed video games for someone Neo knew committing suicide. So we all hate him.

Well, you can't deny that video games have an effect on a person's life, understanding, morals and the such, epecially if they weren't raised properly.
I mean, look at GTA, if a kid plays that at the age of 7 until he is grown-up and he was raised in a trailer-trash home, what do you think that kid will be like?
But speaking of GTA, I think it is a horrible game anyway, but there is no way to limit it for those who can tell the difference from right and wrong, real life and game life, and outlawing is out of the question, so what can you do?

Well, don't hate me or anything, but he does have a point.
Like I said before, there is no way to limit the gameplay of every single gamer, and I would hate to see M and T games get banned. But when you look at it a step further, stuff like what he said does happen. People do get addicted to video games and they miss out on life.
There is nothing Jack Thompson could do or anyother person for that matter. (Unless the Government puts billions of Federal dollars to start a new...whatever, like 'child services.)' But that is never going to happen which is where lies the pointlessness to his letter.
I would have to draw a line and say that I hate his actions, not his views.
He is like a Martin Luther. Luther saw the corruption of the people in the Catholic Church and said what he thought (which was good, but continued to break away from the Catholic Church to start what we have today, which was bad.)
Thompson should only voice his opinion and let the individual parents take care of their kids, not the governments.

Okey-dokey.
In the meantime, I just spammed up the teetering cabin game.
Man, I wish I had my own computer and/or some instant chat thingy.
