how do u get to the second gym leader??? ive been stuck at this part forever!!!!!!

Beat the first one, then follow the right path from Pewter City to mount moon, then go through mount moon, then follow the next path to Cerulean City with the second gym leader.

The 2nd Gym leader is Mysty she uses Water Typer Pokemon so have some Electric and Grass Pokemon handy.
