nope, it doesnt. i tried it, money tree died

u can bury the money with the golden shovel and a tree will form but no money will grow.ive done it with 5 trees it is just a waste of money. not to mention in the guide book it says nothing about money trees. i think this is a great feature they left out of this game

you don't have to water the shovel I read about it in the giude book and the tree may die if you don't put in enough bells

the trees did not die i made 5 trees with 10000 bells each the grew i have 5 trees but not golden nor did any money grow on it. and of coarse u dont water the shovel, its not a tree

Oh yeah I have another thing about Animal Crossing.

This guy named Dr.Shrunk will give you emotions if you meet him.

They express how you're feeling so its pretty cool.

ok lemme tell you, money trees do work!!! all you have to do is plant them where anoter tree was, just chop it down and dig up the stump and plant money in the whole left over, it doesn't always work but it gives it a way better chance of living, trust me... and if you don't mind weeds i heard of a way you can make like millions of bells

1. put like 10000 bells in your accout (it doesn't have to be 10000 but it helps)

2. then change the year as high as you can

3.start game and go to post office

4. they give you intrest for using their bank and you have a lot of money in your account

5.change time back and repeat if you want more money

if you want to get rid of your weeds quickly you can find whisp in your town somewhere and he'll clear out all of your weeds... (i don't know if this millionaire cheat really works but im sure it will, i hate to have my town filled with weeds and i don't like to waste time looking for whisp or picking them up myself, so i never tried, but it is a quick way of making money if your desparate)
