problem with changing shortcut help

    i do understand it but it just doesn't work

    Go to your desktop, find the shortcut to the game. Right click on it and choose properties. Click on the “shortcut” tab. In the box labeled target, delete what is in there and put the following including the quotes: "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Battle for Middle-earth (tm)\lotrbfme.exe" –preferLocalFiles
