I need to get a Vulpix before im done with the game. Can anyone help me with that? And what level does EVEE usualy evolve? I have three and one turned into a ESPEON at lv.27 but my other one is at level 30. and the third is at level 21. Can anyone give me the slightest clue on when they might evolve? .... .... ..... .... ......

vulpix- in silver only route 7, 8, 36, 37

eevee- they evolve when they happy enough. so make them happy by train them, give them haircut etc.

eevee evolution (espeon or umbreon)......

espeon- eevee evolve on day
umbreon- eevee evolve on night

The more battles you lose with them then the longer it will take for them to evolve.

Well im playing gold and I have seen Vulpix while in a trainers battle. There has to be some place I can find it?

Just cos they have it in trainer battles doesn't mean its in the wild, thats just so you can record seeing it in your pokedex.

Only in trainer battles they often do that it is only in Silver

Evee doesnt evolve at a level. Evee evolves either a) when you give it a stone, or b) when it has attained 256 happiness points. For each level it gains, it earns 10 happiness points. Haircuts range from 4-6 happiness points. Grooming is 5. And every 100 steps its takes with you, it earns 1 point. Furthermore, it only loses points if hit with a post-battle status condition (burn or posion), if you feed it bitter medicine, or if it dies.. faints.
