Ok, well a long long time ago there was a rumor that you could play as Sonic and Tails side by side in SSBM after defeating like 100 oponents in that super hard time mode or whatever, (sorry havn't played the game in forever)anyways it was like impossible. there was even a pic of them playing as Sonic and tails in a game magazine (game pro I think) so that's when the drama started, and then they said that's how to get him. but i've been playing this game since the day it came out and I think I should clear this up YOU CANNOT PLAY AS SONIC, TAILS, KNUCKLES, OR ANY OF THE PEOPLE FROM THE SONIC THE HEDGEHOG SERIES. Yeh zack_attack is right. The only ways that can make them playable is:
1. Sega buys out Nintendo and releases yet another Super Smash Bros. Which will never happen.
2. Nintendo buy out Sega and releases yet another Super Smash Bros. (Wait have we heard that before?)
OR
3. They make a Action Replay to do this but won't be available until they release yet another Super Smash Bros. (Yes I'm sure we've heard this before, somewhere.)
