Ok, well a long long time ago there was a rumor that you could play as Sonic and Tails side by side in SSBM after defeating like 100 oponents in that super hard time mode or whatever, (sorry havn't played the game in forever)anyways it was like impossible. there was even a pic of them playing as Sonic and tails in a game magazine (game pro I think) so that's when the drama started, and then they said that's how to get him. but i've been playing this game since the day it came out and I think I should clear this up YOU CANNOT PLAY AS SONIC, TAILS, KNUCKLES, OR ANY OF THE PEOPLE FROM THE SONIC THE HEDGEHOG SERIES. That is all, thank you for your time.

Correction. You can not authentically play as Sonic, Tails, or Knuckles. I'm sure there are AR codes out there that enable you to.

Possibly not Sega had noyhing to do with SSBM no label

correction. there isn't. i've had the gamecube AR since it came out

They were not built into the game as a hack of any sort, like the hot cofee was built into san andreas, sonic and tails/knuckles were not.
