There is a race that at a certain point resets my car for no reason. I know I don't do it. I have tested and ensured that it isn't me. The pursuits also have me in a slump. First I can't make them last long enough, now I can't make them short enough.

i dont know wat u can do about the resetin ur car thing but about the pursuits. Get ur wanted level up to 4 or 5 and then use the main road in rockport, the road that is in a complete circuit around the outside of rockport, use that road to stop havin to slow down to go round sharp corners its gr8 for pursuit times, plus when you have done all the milestones, use the little circuit bit round the stadium to lose ur pursuin cop cars, then duck into the hidein area in the car park of the stadium, if u have problems losin the cops then do another circuit of the main road and attempt to loose the cops again. jus make sure the chopper isnt above u when u hide in the car park.
