it is worth it, here are a few new things.
1. cars
2. new interactions
3. chemistry
4. detailed dates
5. downtown
6. new objects
7. a little bit more character create stuff
and much more i suggest you get the game it rocks.

i dunno im asdking the same question coz i thought university was trashy and i dont want 2 waste anymore money if nightlife is just as bad.

nightlife is 100x better, it opens up a whole new world in the sims 2.

I also thought that sims university wasn't good either but sims nightlife does make up for it cause it is really good. The cars are cool and the new downtown items are great too. It's well worth the money!
