Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Message Board  

Ok, so I was at blockbusters today, and I saw they had GTA San Andres for the PS2 again. And immediatly I grabbed it, soon I saw it said "Second edition" on the box, they took out the really bad stuff in it or whatever, since it was only rated "M". So exited I took it home, and I went in to play it, and since I never actually owned the original San Andres, I just rented it at blockbuster and right when I had to bring it back it was banned from stores when I started up I went to load my original San Andres game that I had left off. It was on the memory and everything and when I clicked "Load" it said "not compatible with this version of the game." So I wasted that money, so warning, don't buy it, or bother renting it, if you've already played it before and gotten far, because it doesn't work with the original San Andres saved game, and it barely indicates it is second edition on the box, and doesn't say it anywhere on the disk.

and it doesnt let you load your previous san andres

I was talking to GTA addict, we're talking about GTA san andres without the hot cofee version here...not new smilies
