Yeah i have tryed that he just completly ignores me and i have had him for almost a month now. I usually dont run but I can see how that would be a problem.
Garbage is easier.

Make it so that you dog is running. Then look at the top dual screen. If the dog icon has stopped, but your dog on the bottom screen is still moving, there will either be a present or garbage. Watch the road once you notice this. If it's a present, tug on the leash to the left of the screen quickly.

That rubber brush thing did not work! I tried it and its not true that it will give you money. But maybe it does and im just doing it wrong.
