if console does not open go to GAME.INI and under console add enabled = 1 it works .

Hello Ppl. Sorry For Being So Straightfoward but i need some clarafications i already put enabled= 1 in the game.ini but when i press the key it opens the console but keeps showing a line saying something could´nt be created and when i put the codes nothing happens and i think it could be related.what do you think?

I've had to do this before. Try going into your device manager and under Human Interface Devices uninstall Microsoft Ehome infrared transceiver (assuming you're on Vista) and then tilde will work. When you reboot, it will automatically reinstall so you'll have to do it after every reboot if you want to use that key.

hey guys, i've tried everything that has been posted. the only thing that i can think of that is different is that i have the second patch installed after 1.1. does that make a difference?? i would really like the console to work, but no clue on what else to do. if anyone has any suggestions let me know
