Use Raiden's staff, keep swinging it at moloch, he will be defeated with ease, this is the best option to use Raiden to beat Moloch every time you try to get a different characters story unlocked. When you kill Moloch and move to the next round, exit to the character select screen and pick your desired character to kill Quan-Chi and Shang Tsung.

the best way to defeat moloch is to use quan chi, draw his broadswords and press x then circle to do a strong blade move, when he goes to strike use this move

Use a character with a long style branch combo. use it when moloch trys to attack!. and just rinse and repeat until satisfied.
