replace * with the name of the ammo for weapons, buckshot is shotgun yea? and is rpg rpg_round? ty

how do you make the console open in game i know its ~ but it wont work for me 🤔

# Cheat Codes

Open Steam, go to your "Play Games" menu, and select Half-Life 2. Right click on it and select "Properties". Click the Launch Options button, then type "-console". Click "Ok", then close. Double click Half-Life 2 to start the game. Once it is loaded and you are playing, press the ~ key to bring up the console. Then, enter "sv_cheats 1" and press [Enter]. You can now enter the following codes at the console window. Also, any code can be used as a command line parameter by prefixing it with the "-" character. impulse 101
If you wan't you can type bind "b" "impulse 101" so everytime when you press b you get ammo for all weapons.

I still have not seen a proper explanation of how to spawn a friendly turret. None of the guides I've read so far have worked.

I just re-installed Steam after not using it for a couple/few years and re-downloaded HL2 cause I wanted to play again.

But back then, when I played the game from the release date I got into all the console commands and got the source code (not their "source" - just the regular source code to complie and make your own mod, etc.) - and even made a few levels/mods and stuff.

I tried pretty hard to create a friendly turret - and looked around a lot at the time... and I came to the conclusion that it's not possible, or at least *very* difficult.

It's possible I'm wrong - but I think they're basically scripted and augmented with code to work properly, so you can't just spawn one.

And.. hey, it's been years, and I haven't checked again since then - so maybe someone *has* figured it out. Good luck, I hope you find some way - if you do, maybe post back here - but... no worries.

i know this is an old topic but if anyone wants cheats and achievements do buddha for health makes you basicly invincible and the bind givecurrentammo to a key and as long as you have 1 ammo you can refill it back to max
