You can get there from Five Island keep going right and you'll see water well Surf and go forward and you'll see a little town go there then go to the Forest if you want catch a Heracross and then get out of the Forest and then Surf again and keep going forward and then you'll see a member of Team Rocket beat him and you'll be able to go to Altering Cave.

But its not worth it there's only Zubat except if you do something special or use an E Reader.

You can't really make a pokemon evole unless you use a stone(Idon't know witch stone) If you don't have a certian stone then you have to wait for it to evole, But don't press B or else it will stop evolving.

it matters there are 3 types of diffrent pokemon

1. the lvl up pokemon: you need to get a pokemon to a certain lvl to make it evovle

2. the stone pokemon: need to use a certain stone to make the pokemon evolve

3. the love pokemon: needs to be cared for super well (give it stuff like protains and zinc and haircuts) and eventullay it will evovle
