You hav 2 go to the penguins down south and help them 2 get a pretty stone. then you need 2 go 2 the bird and give it the pretty stone 2 get the red handkerchief and THEN give the red handkerchief 2 thecow to get the milk. then go to the dog near gondowan to exchange the milk for the li'l turtle.

how can you grab the ropes

i think there's two problems here... for the ropes thing-a-ma-jig. you do have to go back for the temple near Daila and complete it for the psynergy stone, Lash. and for the other turtle thing on the island, mind read the turtle again and select yes to return back.

To get the Lash Pebble, you need to go to the Kandorean Temple. To get there from Daila, you need to follow the path that goes west from Daila and eventually it will take you to the Kandorean Temple. If you talk to the monks at the main entrance, they will tell you that you can't come in, so you have to do a little trick. Follow the left wall until you come to a hole that's covered with vines. Use Sheba's Whirlwind Psynergy to get into the cave. If you complete it, the monks' master will give you the Lash Pebble. You have to equip it in order to actually be able to use Lash.
Using it is rather simple; all you have to do is walk up to a coiled rope and select Lash from the Psynergy menu. A hand should appear and pull the rope to a nearby peg in the ground. You will need this to complete the game, and also you will need it to complete one of the caves where you can get a summon tablet.
