In the village, if you don't want to deal with the chainsaw guy, don't go into the buildings until the cut scene when everyone goes inside. If you want to kill him, shoot him with the shotgun, reloading everytime he falls down.

do NOT use a knife whenever ur facing the chainsaw dude, there's a good chance of u getting killed. Use any powerful and an effective gun on him, shotgun is preferbly the best one. A good tactic is not to stay close to him, and aim for his legs. Therefore u'll have time to throw in some shots while he's down.

In my opinion, the best way to kill a chainsaw enemy is with a shotgun. Make sure you far away from him, he/she goes pretty crazy. : P

Get out the killer7 and go for a series of head shots and they should be dead easy

hes pretty simple mate if you realy dont want to risk anythign grenade him but otherwise aim for his legs with the pistol or if you have it jsut spray his ass with the shotgun...
2 ways he can kill you
1 the 99.9 attack hell slick your head off
2 if on somewhat very deap read health hell simply quick slice you like hes usen a sara sword. this is exstremly rare. ive only seen it on my gamecube version
