I have been messing around with CosMOS trying to edit the amount of a few items that I have but I have not had any luck. Has anyone had any luck locating what value type items use? I have been mainly doing this with encryption keys because I was unable to get the mega credits dupe to work for them.

If you are using CosMos, make sure you have at least 3 of the item you want to 'dupe'

go to a vendor, make a search for the amount you have, then sell 1 to the vendor, scan for the new amount in your inventory. buyback or sell 1 more, scan again, until you have 5 addresses filtered out. Change them all to say.. 100, then sell/buy back one. Then you should be golden.

Thanks, I was trying to do it with two for the longest time as I could not find another one. I finally found a third one and was able to use the mega credits option to get more that way. When I get more time tonight I will try to find the ID for it and post it here so others can use it.

I was able to find a few different addresses in CoSMOS for the Decryption Keys and I was able to lock the number of keys that I have but I was unable to get it to give me more or less keys. However, it seems that once you reload the game the addresses change and I am not sure how to compensate for that or that you can.

I was playing with that.. Seems consumables are locked as 9 for some reason..

Yeah, I noticed that it reverts back too. My problem when I was trying to edit them was that I could not narrow it down to less than 8 or 9 addresses for just the decryption keys. Then once I was able to do some minor editing I left the store screen and the game crashed. After I restarted it the addresses no longer worked so I assume that the addresses change every time you open the game. I will give it another shot after the patch tomorrow, maybe I will have better luck.

Some other member posted about it on the main thread that Decryption Keys are limited to 9 at a time.

Yeah, my goal was to lock them at 9, but like I mentioned before when I tried to narrow down their address in CoSMOS I was left with 8 or 9 different memory addresses for the Decryption Keys. I tried locking them all at 9 and was able to keep them that way in the shop screen, but once I did that and left the shop screen the game crashed and when I loaded it back up and tried again the memory addresses I had saved for the keys were not longer matching. This led me to assume that the memory addresses for inventory items change every time the game is loaded. I have limited experience with CoSMOS and CE so I am not sure if there is a way to compensate for something like that or not.
