This game is addicting but i would love a more creative type experience so i can play around more.

So it would be nice to know what creative things you ask for.

The easiest way to get find resource values is to build a storage compactor and allow one resource which you need to hack to be accepted.

For example i was searching for algae, so i put some in one of the compactors, in cosmos you need to put experience level at least on skilled to open up additional options. Then you search for "value type: float", "search type: value between" and just put the amount inside the compactor so for example if it was 1089.1 - you put "search for: 1089 to 1090".

After that you just wait until dupes use some of the algae, pause the game, and repeat it for the next scan selecting "float" and "value between". It takes only 2-3 scans to get the value and you can just press "next scan" a few times to discard some of the results until you get only 4 values left. Change all of them to the desired amount. You can even put more than 20000k and then click on the compactor and empty it so you would get a huge blob of the resource on the outside.
