Hellgate: London Message Board  

I am trying to use the trainer on a X64 Windows 10 installation. I have tried multiple versions of the trainer for different versions of the game and all of them crash on startup. I do not see anything relevant other than the generic windows error message.

Trainers for other games work fine so it does not appear to be an anti-virus issue or anything like that, even though I have all that turned off anyway.


Tried x64 version of game and X32
Running DX9 version of game as DX10 creates too much FPS drop on my low end laptop.
game is fully updated


-I have tried compatibility mode - (XP - Vista SP1,2 - Win7 - Win8)
-Set to run as admin
-Not sure if this requires connectivity to you like others, but my VPN allows connections to you for other trainers.
-Tried running from a variety of directories

I am thinking that maybe the trainer itself just is not compatible for newer systems. Not sure if this is really worth your time to fix, but it would be awesome if you could easily.

OS: Windows 10 X64 Enterprise

The first trainer in the list is the only one compatible with Windows 8 or higher and requires 32-bit DX10 mode of the game to be running.

I will have to look for a 1.3 patch and try it in "multiplayer" but as of right now, I only have the 1.2 patch, which brings my version current to that of the trainer and thus do not have the multiplayer option. I will try and find it and see if I can confirm its working there.

Considering this is such an old game, I am surprised anyone responded, let alone so quick, lol

As for the latest trainer, I have managed to get it to run. However, it gives me the message of "game not found".

it won't find the game until you are in the game, using the 32-bit executable in DX10 mode and it's not being blocked by AV, firewall, other security software or OS permissions.

I am going to try 1 last thing, which is running a standalone patch on the game for the 1.2 patch.


trainer is not blocked.
All security programs off
confirmed that my terra tech trainer works in same location
using latest trainer
tried also running game in compatibility mode
tried activating trainer at main menu and while in game


Will post again once I reapply that patch... gotta love older games on newer operating systems.

Unable to repatch the game. The installer does not allow for overwriting files. As of now, I have even tried bringing the game up to the revival patches and still nothing works. the trainer just will not see the game.
