hi,
as mentioned before there is a new/old version of impreium galactica 2 available on steam.
is it possible to get a trainer for the steam version here or do i have to start a new trainer request for it?

Cool options would be:
- Money
- add Population on selected planet
- production multiplier (10 bits before the population of a planet always. If population is on ...B6 the multiplier would be on AC)

Population and Multiplier (4bytes) are easy going, but money (double) is not really working with CosMOS. It freezes, but doesn't built anything and when unfreezed, directly -something.

One work-around I've found with the money is to find the double for it, change to what you want, and then start a new game with that frozen at your preferred amount. You can only start a new game with this method (and therefor only do this once) but give yourself enough money, and once is enough.

EDIT: I'm not sure if the double is the same for every campaign/skirmish, so to be on the safe side, I start the campaign to find the double, then restart using all the same options (difficulty etc) while following the above.

i played the game for month in the past and what i can tell is that just money wont bring you any good.

to take advantage of the money you need people and energy on the planets.

with money you can buy any buidling ship or tank you want but you need manpower to build that factions and to maintance the great amount of energy you need for that.

All I can say is that Add Population and Production Multiplier are already on the request list for an updated trainer. But our HEX-Wizards are buried under loads of code and algorithms for other trainers and updates. Unfortunately Imperium Galactica 2 is not on their hotlist at the moment.

That's true, but money still solves many issues. Combine this with the fact that (as BlutVampir pointed out above) both population and production are hackable.

For population, use the absolute value on the galactic map, not population spare that you use when building. Just leave it a few seconds to update to a new value and narrow down your search that way.

For production you can just toggle on and off your factories, searching in-between each time. You need to lock the value once you set it, the game re-sets it every few seconds or so otherwise.

Energy would be a useful hack, but if you have the population and the money, it's really not difficult to build enough reactors to power your planet twice-over.

In addition, the money hack lets you run your research at constant double-speed (set by the research menu (F4)), allowing your tech to quickly be far superior to your enemies. You can field better spies due to training, better planets due to building and even be better at diplomacy due to gifts. It unlocks a whole realm of cheating.

iam not very firm with this so i needed some time to test.
i think this is really tricky even if you use cosmos and find and change the number of people on a planet, i still cant find a way to change the energie with it ( if i try there are always only numbers that change from withe to red numbers all the time even if i got the game paused )

there are missing some very important tooltips in the game such as ( why are people unhappy ( there is just a little hint in the text of the planet ) and how many houses do i need for how many poeple on the planet, how many police, hospitals and so on. if i change the people of a planet from 19000 to 60000 there are instant giant problems i cant handle like they are unhappy and revolting.

i have to do some more testing i think but it will be really a great work to change the planets if you got more than lets say 20 of them.

i would be greatefull for some tips. if i found the number for the people with cosmos does it change the planet iam klicking on automatically so i dont have to find it again?
