I have a few games from Origin and tried to use the latest trainer for that game marked for Stream. The trainer would crash the game application. Origin and Stream are software delver methods. The reason why an trainer crashes the game application by after pressing F1 in game menu has to do with the trainer trying to perform an action into memory heap stack that is not there.

In answer to my question it turns out that the version being sold on Origin is actually the Steam version and it needs Steam to install. So the Steam trainer does work with it.
