Well I am really gutted I have waited for the Steam sale so I could purchase DISHONORED 2 but after reading the reviews I could not believe how many NEGATIVE reviews the game has got on Steam.

Have any members come across Technical issues, the game is renowned for low Frame rates and the game stutters it plays better on low end rigs lol, all this info is from Reviews and up to now has stopped me from purchasing this game even at £26:79 price which is great from the steam sale.

So can anybody give me any POSITIVE feedback at least I can trust members on here (fingers crossed).

Those people having issues with FPS. I have no clue what they are doing wrong as the game ran amazing for me. As for the game it is good. But not a great as the first.

The game also ran well for me too no issues.

If you have an Nvidia Grafics Card, install the Latest 376.33 Driver and let Geforce Experience optimize the Game Settings.
Bought the Game Yesterday here in Germany via G2Play.Net - Dishonored 2 + Imperial Assassin's DLC Steam CD Key for 31,95€.

I have "only" an GTX 780 TI and the Game runs smooth as Hell 😀 😀

Game runs perfectly fine for me as well but I completely understand people who complain that it's not the case for them.

It seems both this game and mafia 3 were really meant for consoles only, and had 30fps locked (meaning EVERYTHING in the game was meant for or locked at 30 fps).
Porting them to pc, pc people like to have more than 30 fps, and it seems unlocking the cap has made major issues with both games.
I know I JUST got mafia 3 working to where I could play it, and it was a pre-order of mine.
And, my machine is a hog, 12gb Titan x, I7 @ 4.5ghz, etc.
Machines dont matter, coding does.
But, I bit the bullet on both, just got DH2 yesterday from Greenmangaming for $34, so will see what surprises it holds for me as well.

OK, played me some today, and so far, yes, there are some weird frame drops, in really weird places also.
During loading the game, I got 1-3 fps.
During the 1st cut scenes, I was getting 166 fps. Then, 1 or 2 people would move into the cutscene, and it would drop 33, each time new people popped in for a little gum flapping. This went all they way down to 68 fps.
Weird for just cut scenes.
Then loading screen again, and another 1-7 fps, What the duece?
Then I started playing the game (I set it for max 120fps), and the gameplay so far has been hanging around 102-117. So, not bad at all, and not much fluctuation.
I havent gotten into a major foght with lots of people yet though. Based off the cutscenes lowering like they did when new people came into the scene, I bet THAT is where the drops will be coming from, when new people come onto/into the scenes.
But, so far, like I said, not bad.
10x better than mafia 3, even after 3 months and 4 patches for it, it still is worse than DH2 (which sucks, because I like Mafia and gunplay better than DH stealth style gameplay).

I will let you know if I find anything else weird, or where the frames drop.

Well my doom and gloom vanished 3 days ago that is when I started playing Dishonored 2 and to my amazement, it runs PERFECT and what a delight this game is and yes up to now I think the game could rank side by side to Dishonored 1 so when i have finished the game I will come back and see if I am of the same opinion. 😀 😀
