I noticed this was posted to the steam page for the game. Seems they are threatening to ban people for using cheats possibly even for single player (obviously multiplayer bans are expected) so I am curious if this will affect anyone from getting the game as it has me. I will not support a game that infringes on my single player experience with threats of a ban for not playing it their way.

"Any attempt to edit, corrupt or change game code or data that affects online play is prohibited. Though modifying game data for single player play is tolerated, it’s at the user’s own risk and may trigger anti-cheat detection."
If Ubi wants to BAN single player CH users by all means, I bury my account exactly as I did when Blizzard went nutty with StarCraft 2 bans for people playing in single player mode.
As some know Forza did this recently, and many people just refunded the game and got their money back, so by all means, let UBI do this, they already have the worst gaming APP on the market today.

I must have missed that part.
it's simple really. don't use the trainer until you absolutely MUST use it (in single player mode) that way you don't trigger that so called "anti cheat" script.
It's even simpler, I won't buy their game, watch dogs was horrible, rainbow six is good if you like online only play, the Far cry series is good but honestly what games does UBI promote that that I can't live without........nothing really.
