Does anyone know how to make the Add Money work? When i try to add money, it still increases the number but then when i spend money on something, it goes back to the original amount.

To add money, use the unlimited ammo option. Just follow these steps in order:
Turn on unlimited ammo option
Get in a car, watch the top right corner. You should automatically loot something from it
Go to any pawn shop
Talk to the owner, select 'Sell All Valuables'
The sale value will go up, probaby because the unlimited ammo option also multiplies junk
Turn off unlimited ammo option
Select 'Sell All Valuables' again, get cash
Rinse and repeat
