CoSMOS Gamehacking Tool

I am trying to scan for the money value. I get the first one but when I scan for the next value it wont get a result. I used more then one search type. I am a beginner with the CoSMOS. What can I do to use this tool correctly?

Sometimes games don't store the exact value you see on screen. If you have 400 gold and then spend some, you might end up with 300.5 gold which shows 300 gold in the game. I would recommend using the increased by and decreased by searches using all types and see if you get a better result. So do a first scan of all values or even the exact value. Then do something to decrease or increase your gold then do an increased or decreased search. You can also just let the same sit there for a minute and tell it to search for unchanged values. That will eliminate a lot of results as many values in the game shift around which are not gold but would show up in an increased/decreased search.

Thank you for responding so fast. I used decreased and increasing value and with each next scan it gave me thousands but as i keep going the results drop. Thank you for the advice! I have lots to work with now.

Yeh, unfortunately those scans take the longest but once you find the real addresses, the values and type of those addresses, then you can narrow future scans to just include those types and values. Some games may store Gold as the number shown +2 or X3, etc. You just have to figure out the pattern and then you'll be able to nail it every time. With this game being so old if you were to find the addresses they might actually be static, you can save them and then just load the script each time.
