Did you got it to work? If not can you send me your savegame?
Also remember for points (ingame not creation) you have to open the character STATS window of the character you want the points to add to.

The character creation points should have been fixed. You can also try and delete the current trainr and download the latest trainer again. Maybe you are still using an old version?

After leaving the game alt-tabbed and the trainer running for an hour or so, i came back to the trainer's editor correctly reading and modifying in-game values for some reason. Go figure.

just a heads-up for anyone not that far in. i'd turn off the instant travel after the first act. i forgot(and am also lazy) and it broke my save.(not a trainer problem, it works fine.)

i was using it to skip around the map and after i killed the crazy brotherhood leader i travelled back to the town with the trainer option off and a cutscene started where a guy was asking a toll for crossing the bridge and was referring to the one i killed as still alive. got out of the convo, he disappears and now cant actually travel to the town.

I am reporting that I have finally gotten the trainer working. I had forgotten to move one of my Environment Variables for the TEMP and TMP directories to the new drive that replaced a failed drive so the trainer was defaulting to sticking the TMP file and DLL in the same folder as the trainer itself, but then looking for it in the directory listed in the Environment Variables.
