Some of you may have already noticed, but we are beginning to move games off of the requests list that have been on there for a long period of time and not reached 75% or more of their goal. We plan to start getting more aggressive with this starting in October. If games sit on the req list for several weeks without getting at least 50% filled, they will be removed and credits refunded. What's happening is that some of these games sit on the req list for months until they finally get funded, then we make a trainer and by that time no one is playing the game any longer and 3 people download it. The person that originally requested the trainer probably isn't even interested any longer. This is a waste of our already stretched thin resources when we spend hundreds of dollars on paying a programmer to create a trainer that literally 3 people download. There are ZILLIONS of unspent request credits being held but hundreds of thousands of members. If you guys want a trainer made, I would suggest you using your credits towards it right away. I know that some games you might not be playing right when they come out or may get them on sale on GOG or Steam months after release and still want a trainer and we certainly don't mind making them if enough people are interested. Just because a title is removed from the request list doesn't mean that it can't be added back in the future. That's only for games that we looked at and a trainer was too difficult or could not be made.

I guess the point I'm trying to make is that if you want a trainer for a game, spend your credits. There are tons of games on the list that aren't scheduled to be released for another year or more. You don't have to wait until a game is released to request it. If you see something interesting coming out in a few weeks or months, request it and put some credits towards it.

We've also been making trainers for some games that are not reaching their goals. This is also going to be cut back on. We are going to start focusing only on the games that have reached 100% and/or new releases that we feel are popular enough for a trainer to be made. Of course, all big releases will automatically get a trainer.

These changes are in no way designed to keep any specific trainers from being made. If you have 20,000 req points and a game you requested has a 17,000 goal, you can fill the whole thing yourself and a trainer will be made (if possible). But we can't keep spending a ton of money and resources on games long past or abandoned.

I hope everyone understands our goals and the reasoning behind it. Any games removed from the req list will always have their credits refunded back to those that put credits towards it.

I think that if the request has not been filled in like 1 month or maybe 2 then the game request should be removed then.

I like the idea but I think 3 months. That should be plenty of time to allow members to buy extra credits if needed for funding.

Any chance you guys could add the date a trainer was requested for each game?

We are just now beginning to capture this data. If we can find a spot to display it then we will but only for newly requested titles that have the date captured.

This one situation just seems STUPID,

Quote from the large post of PWizard "I guess the point I'm trying to make is that if you want a trainer for a game, spend your credits. There are tons of games on the list that aren't scheduled to be released for another year or more. You don't have to wait until a game is released to request it. I do not mean PWizard is stupid what I do mean is the part of the paragraph that reads There are tons of games on the list that aren't scheduled to be released for another year or more. these games should not BE ON THAT LIST how crazy is that also people using up credit or tied up credits for a game that a Trainer may not be able to be made, also I personally do not like when PWizard says of course ne Top games will automatically get a Trainer, what about games that are not Top games but we still want a Trainer and Yes I am always willing to spend points on a Request I have been Lucky for there alway's has been a Trainer when I wanted one for my game, But if there is to bee cutbacks that's not really fair to paid users and members even though I am a cheap PAID member from October 2010 Luck me or should I say well done Mirraluka for supporting CHU in those earlier years,at the end of the day staffing and employing people is the Job of the Top brass but making cutbacks because basically reading between the lines CHU needs more STAFF, this is not like me to complain or criticise CHU its just fact and I am sorry I I sound ungrateful or I have stud on anybody's toe's.

I do like the ideer of removing those which isnt getting the right amount of funding and is just being there and not getting anything above 50%. I mostly check out the request to see what kind of games there is to fund but mostly all the time all those i wanna support is already maxed 😀 so yea i wont be spending that much credit on anything until i see something
Be yourself, don't worry too much, and remember to treat others as you want to be treated as well.
