I had it offline, after I got in the game started the trainer disabled the LAN connection. I know that I use the trainer at my own risk, just seems odd as I have got no messages about being banned. Maybe I just broke my game. Lol oh well should have made a dummy account and tried it with that first.

We just tested the trainer again and both credits and XP options are working fine.

press Capture Credits
press ESC
wait a second or two
Press Add Credits
press ESC to leave menu
Press ESC to reenter menu
credits increased

Credits still doesn't work here, worked fine last night.

I tried recent guide aswell, no luck.

I am only speculating here as I have never played the game and have no idea what credits or XP are used for or how it many affect the online component of the game. What I do know is that "it worked last night and not today" means that something has changed on your end.

A) You used the credits and XP cheats and then went online and used them and MS flagged your account or changed the code somehow to block the cheat from working.

B) Your game was patched somehow, perhaps by detecting the cheat and they moved the addresses for the credits and XP cheats or blocked it somehow.

C) You used the cheats and are now further into the game where the code that holds the credits and XP values is in a different location.

Those are my 3 best guesses. I can tell you that Cal has only played the game offline and not for hours on end to progress far into the game and that the cheats still work for him.

So, we need someone to upload their game exe file so we can compare to see if it has changed. If it's even possible to share savegames with others, then someone can upload their save so we can test it. We need more information about where you are in the game, what you used the credits for, did you go online, etc. You guys can change the value of the credits and XP given in the trainer to whatever number you want by clicking on the option and putting the amount in the box. Perhaps trying to change it to a negative number and see if it reduces your credits or XP. Then at least we would know if it's still writing the code in the same location. Maybe start a new game if it's possible without overwriting your current game and see if the credits work then. That would tell us that MS hasn't done something to your savegame or profile to somehow block the cheats from working.

These are my suggestions. We cannot replicate the problem here so there is nothing we can do to fix it without more data. But the trainer didn't change from last night to today so there has to be a reason why it stopped working just for certain people. The more info people can provide or testing they can do maybe with different accounts or something will help us to figure it out. But just saying that it worked last night and not today doesn't help us in any way whatsoever.

Trust me, we truly want to help solve whatever problem there might be, if its even solvable, we just need more info.

Where may I upload my game.exe for you to check?

EDIT: Story Completed 100% ; All boards and Barn Finds collected. Never played offline, never touched the auctionhouse. Credits and XP worked earlier today when I was at ~70% Story progression. Dont work now at 100%.

Knowing that you are at 100% is a possibly important detail. It's possible that the game changes some of it's data locations once you reach 100% or the mechanics change somehow.

Anychance you's could add an option to give yourself skill points?
