The Game is not "that" Bad but it is definitely not worth 60 Bugs, wait till the prize goes down to 20 or 25, then buy it.

Pretty much this. The game isn't even close to what we were promised in the trailers maybe down the road it will be if it gets updates and polishing but at the moment it's definitely not worth the $60 price tag as others have stated.

"Is No Man's Sky good or not" is a loaded question.

"Yes it is good" is too simple an answer for this game because people seem to be expecting this game to be something it is not. Therefore, I will give you a more complete answer and you can judge for yourself.

Yes, IF you like a game that is entirely about exploring a vast procedurally generated universe and discovering the many things there are to discover in said universe, it is a good game.

If the above does not sound like your kind of thing, then it won't be for you, but it is still a "good game".

Sorry but that guy is a twit. Another person to knock of my list. People let their minds fly expecting AAA levels. This aint no tripple A company. From what they have done it pretty good. Did I expect it to be like anything else? No! Did i expect it to look like the trailers no because I never really looked at them. Did I join the hype train na. Is it worth the £30 ($60) mark. That is a question. So far I have not had much time to play it because of work.

But al throw in my two cents first impressions.

One Started up fine. Compared to many having starting issues. On Verius systems e.g. some high end systems not able to run it while others can same with all the other levels. FPS drops, fixed with cranking everything up. Flying needs to be given more freedon in control at times feels like it wants to take over more. Space to planet transitions, damn amazing. Creatures, certainly interesting. Story path wise not hit much on that. As I am just exploring and tagging as much as I can.

Collecting stuff can be frustrating because alot of items need items to run. But this is a survial explore game. I have to say there has been some glitches. But has it effected gameplay no, has it effected immersion as MXR would say. YES! But does that stop me from playing no. For what that small team has done. I would say the price is right. Does it need more work. YES and I hope for more improvements. Because this game will be staying on my rig.

Considering the amount of hype NMS had the last year or so, I was expecting much more. $60/€60 for the game itself is a no go for me, might pick it up during a sale when it drops down to like $15/€15 because to me it doesn't look like anything special.

Essentially, spawn on a random planet, fix your ship, jump to another planet or don't like that one guy, communicate or at least try to communicate with the "numerous" members of only 3 races in the galaxy, and every other galaxy you get thrown into after reaching the center, the oh so epic space battles with huge stationary freighters and 2-3 pirate ships trying to do something...

My guess is I was making an error thinking NMS would be something along the lines of sci-fi space oriented Minecraft, but it's nowhere close to that. Now, is it a good game? Maybe. It's the biggest Steam launch for this year so far, so I'm guessing people like it but the users reviews are rather mixed so far.
