In my honest opinion, I'd say a lot of people wouldn't say it's worth the $60 price tag for the game. I can agree. The exploring is fun for a while but constant resource gathering can get tiresome. Everything needs resrources. Starship lasers, hyperdrive, pulse engine, launch thrusters, Life Support, your tool gun and it's various modes all need resources. Combat is bare minimum. But I still find myself relaxing as I fly through space mining asteroids and exploring planets. I won't sit for hours playing but it's a nice game to relax with here and there.

If you aren't into a game where the only thing to really do is exploring and resource gathering, then pass or wait for a price drop. I'd say don't buy into the hype, it can lead to disappointment. It's no must play, but it's fine. Not bad, not amazing. If you're looking for base building, in-depth survival/combat/NPCs/animals, it's sorely missing from this. Check out videos of gameplay and decide for yourself if it's really the type of game you're into and won't get bored after a few hours.

This is just my opinion. Other people will have different tastes and nothing wrong if you disagree with how I feel about the game.

This is totallly unrelated to anything in this topic and you provided absolutely no vinformation of value.

    Post your issue here: Link

If you ignore some of the technical issues, which I'm sure will be patched, the game is good. But it depends if you're really into this type of game. It's fairly slow paced for a lot of the time (unless you're using this trainer maybe). Basically, it's not a game for the impatient, those who need constant direction, those who need linear and story driven game-play.

Think of it as Elite Dangerous lite

I returned it within steam's 2 hours playtime. It mostly comes down to do you like exploring for exploration's sake? If so then yes, probably. However I found that the combat was clunky, and there wasn't much else to do but explore. Which is fine, but I enjoy space combat, trade, and factions which interact. Perhaps I somehow expected another x3 game, but with procedural systems. It wasn't. However I did hear something about base building being added in the future, if that floats your boat, not quite my kind of thing.
"The tools may be more effective than those who battled before you but make no mistake, you are no less a barbarian than your ancestors with their clubs and rocks. The only difference now is you do it without honor; cowering behind your guns, your bombs. You don't use tactic, just force..."

The game engine itself is amazing, its capable of generating countless planets, plants and wildlife, and exploring it all is fun, however they need to add a lot more. I saw a great quote describing this game, "A mile wide, but only a inch deep." The developers have already said they are going to be adding a lot of new stuff, plus new features like base building. So as long as they keep up their end and continue to add new stuff to the already amazing game engine, it will eventually be an amazing game, instead of just an ok walk around and look at the pretty scenery game.
