CoSMOS Gamehacking Tool

Please note that in the next revision of CoSMOS, the following will be added to our About section of the app:

Dark Byte:
Special credits goes to Dark Byte for his speedhack calculation method which CoSMOS also uses in its speedhack function. CoSMOS uses a very close syntax for script injection merely to provide interoperability and compatibility with Dark Byte's open source cheat tables.

We will also provide a thanks and link to DarkByte next to our speedhack function within the app itself.

Hopefully that will satisfy the CE users that feel wronged by our tool and we probably should have done it to begin with. It was no intentional snub to DarkByte or CE in any way.

The newest version of CoSMOS has been released with proper credit given to DarkByte and CE for any instances of calculations or similar syntax being used.

After receiving an email from DarkByte, he appears to have no issue with CoSMOS itself or the civilized discussion of the differences between the two apps. But he did take issue with all of the flaming and unnecessary blamefest.

If anyone from CE or CH wants to contine the discussion between CE and CoSMOS, you are welcome to do it here in this thread as long as it remains civilized and each argument can be backed up with tangible proof and not just speculation.

I frequently visit Cheat Happens and I enjoy the content you guys provide. I have seen the posts in this thread but I did not perceive that anyone is "attacking" coSMOS

It is a great application that helps people not proficient in programming and hacking to try and familiarize themselves with hacking games. like myself.

I used CoSMOS but as stated it has a steep learning curve. It does have the advantage of being in the market for so long that it has plenty of cheat tables available for many games. I hope that in the future you continue to develop coSMOS to be even smarter and more user friendly and maybe have some cheat tables added in the site (I'm sure you guys must of tested it on some games so please put up those tables if you can)

Being a free program is a big plus and people really appreciate the effort put into bringing this app to the community (at least I do) and you should not be concerned with people trying to compare it to other programs out there. Instead you should focus on making this application the best at what it does (with consistency and stability in mind).

So you say cosmos is not trying to compete with CoSMOS, but youve now coded your trainers to close both itself and CoSMOS if it detects it running at the same time. If i need to do somethign that your trainer doesnt do, i used to beable to load up CoSMOS and do things myself, while the trainer was running, but now i cant, i can load cosmos, but its not as easy to use, it doesnt always works, alot of table scripts just flat out dont work, so i cant use alot of tables. Please reverse this desicion, i dont give a **** about your beef with darkbyte, why are you punishing your paying customers?

I have run both without problems, are you sure it's not you security software or the games anti-cheat detecting it? It could be as simple as a conflict in the code you are trying to manipulate that the trainer has already hooked to.

Ah, no the latest iteration of cheathappens trainers FORCIBLY close CoSMOS and then close themselves if they detect CoSMOS running. I mean, if I am running other software on my pc do I really want a trainer engine looking at other stuff Im running and actively monitoring it? I mean I know it needs to look for the GAME process, but that should be it! Like if I was paranoid, given the trainers ability to go online AND monitor what other software im running, i'd think maybe it was dialing home reporting/collecting the info of other software im running and doing something with this information :P Yes, I know it doesn't. And yes I know google, facebook, windows 10, etc. all collect info though and they are much worse.

Have you tried the Anno 1800 one? No need to even attach to a game. Just run CoSMOS, then open the Anno 1800 trainer and here is what it does:

Yea get that A LOT.. And yes it doesn't have anything to do with firewalls/AV/ or anything else like that cause the older trainers from here work just fine. Its the newer ones like Anno1800. Try THAT one. Just open the trainer (don't attach game) and open a CoSMOS table with CoSMOS.
