the game has built-in cheats.. a lot of them.. what exactly do people want the trainer to do?

Same as usual, infinite health. it doesn't let you use cheats in challange mode, same for number 1. Challange mode has some stuff you can't get normally, and some of the levels in challenge can be damn hard. At lease Inf Health and buddy health.

I was wondering which built-in cheats you were talking about, since all of the cheats I've been able to find, has been console specific, and this particular trainer is for the PC version.

With that said, some options I think would be nice are:
Add power points.
Add in-game currency to buy skills.
Remove Level requirement for powers and skills.
Unlock characters.
Remove requirement for characters.

I'm not sure if this game has built-in cheats for the PC version. As well, usually when they do, they disable achievements, so an outside trainer is always appreciated for those of us who still enjoy gaining them.

Some things that would be good to include, while keeping things minimal, are:
- Infinite Health
- Power Points
- Currency
