I have the same problem now, used to run a couple of days ago but now it doesn't, comes up with customised for and then closes, works in safe mode but not in normal.
I have windows 10 and done a couple of updates, don't know if thats the problem or not, not sure what the updates was for as never see any update notes now and don't know how to get them up.
Have tried disabling antivirus too and adding it in a exclusion.
Try completely uninstalling your AV, firewall or other security software. Right click run as admin on trainer. Make sure you have full rights to the Windows temp folder where a portion of the trainer runs from. I have Windows 10 with all updates installed and it runs fine. My guess is that your AV or security software updated and is now blocking it even when disabled or whitelisted.
GOG or STEAM, does game version match trainer version? did the game update?
Game version does match the trainer version.

Edit: I downloaded the GOG version instead of steam.
Alsi credits option is crashing the game
