Or you could simply adjust your PC clock.

There is a problem with adjusting your pc's clock.
It can sometimes glitch the game to where you no longer find items in the wasteland.
The only was to reset it I have found is to wait until the day you set the clock to is
earlier than when you open the game next.

So if you open the game on the 1st, send your guys into the wastes, save and close.
Then set your clock to the 2nd. Open the game again, collect the gear. Save and close.
Now...
Setting your clock back to the correct time, sending your guys back into the wastes,
you won't collect any new gear until you are progressing into "new time".

Waiting till it is actually the 2nd, or just continuously setting the clock further
and further down the line will work. But, come on, eventually, your gonna want to set
your clock to the ACTUAL time.

I'm going to give the speedhack a try. I mean, why not? Besides, this is the kind of game that it was built for. 😀
