I downloaded the latest Kenshi trainer but the downloaded .rar file only contains the readme.txt file, not the actual trainer...

Works fine here. Something on your PC might be blocking it.

Just previous to downloading it, the website was giving me issues, the cloudflare server in moscow was saying that the site was down for a few minutes before I was able to get back in.
