I have tested the trainer options on nightmare mode and managed to get steam achievements with only health, ammo, armor and easy kills turned on. While having these options turned on and after getting my first praetor token, I used it and although it did go to 99 after that, dev mode didn't trigger and I was able to upgrade sections of my suit.
I have also successfully used the weapon tokens cheat after getting at least one weapon token in the game, but I turned it off as soon as I was done upgrading my weapons.

Good ol' console commands.
haven't had a chance to play it yet,I don't think i'm going to use a trainer in this game. I miss Doom all to well to even not try. Unless some neat and interesting ones get added.
I miss drunk mode lmao.
What you are describing is the 'easy' difficulty gameplay setting in DOOM, which is one step below the default difficult level.
Thanks for the suggestion though.
Edit: I don't know how to quote others I guess...

I am experiencing an odd problem. For whatever reason; the trainer cannot find the game. I have turned off all the usual suspects. I made sure both Doom and the trainer were running in admin mode. I even placed the trainer in the Doom folder. I tried activating it in just about every menu screen there is prior to launching the game. I just can't seem to get this one to run. I would love some suggestions on how I might be able to fix this. Thank you.
Update* It seems to have fixed itself. I restarted my pc and the trainer is able to recognize the game.
