This trainer works in Ironman, with Achievements, here's also a tip for people who are constantly typing in the console, instead of typing, just use your up arrow, it will scroll through all the texts you've typed. Using this trainer along with console commands is not rocket science, come on, use some common sense.

Here are good Commands to get more Research and AI cant use it'
planet_class pc_gaia
planet_size 25
planet_resource [resource] [amount]
minerals energy food physics_research society_research engineering_research
it will randomly allocated the resources on the planet selected. Add 1000 and you have a nice Planet and Instant Research ^^

About the problem someone got with a "cheated" race, finding that also some AI races are "cheated", I think that when the game choose randomly the AI opponents it chooses amongst ALL the available races, including the customized ones (and thus, the "cheat", just changing the basic race traits but leaving the rest (with their basic pro/cons). That's the reason we find some races with many traits.
My suggestion is, to avoid creating a "cheated" race, then once in game, edit your own race in the race panel. Using the console command to finish the research instantly, the effect will be immediate. IMHO.

Just my two cents for a better result:
starting with your home planet:
instant_build (will toggle on the instant finishing of every building) planet_class pc_gaia (change the planet to gaia environment) planet_size 25 (change the max planet population/slots to 25)
build everything matching the present resources (and many power plants where you don't have a resource - thats where the console added the slots)
populate (will fill all slot with grown up population)
the next commands will distribuite the maximum possible outcome of the resource in the slots producing that resource (if you do this before building anything in the free slots, thwy will fill with the first of the resources you issue the command of)
If you are lucky enough (or just more expert of the game) you will have a tile producing influence, very important, so: planet resource influence 5000
instant_build (will toggle off the instant build)
With this, your research and resources production is boosted a lot, and will allow you to do nearly everything very quick 😉
NOTE: you can avoid building anything on the new tiles, and get bonuses (including influence). Just remember that when you start creating sectors, the planets will go under AI management. I so suggest to leave them without buildings (and use the whole bonuses) only on your main planet that will always be manually managed.

Not sure if some know, but you can also increase your "cash" by doing instant researches, constantly in the tech tree. Same for minerals and food, it also works for the amount of planets you can occupy, you can keep increasing it, i'm currently at 25 planets that i can occupy. Hope this helps.
